Leave Money on
the Floor
Every drip is wasted material. Every uneven bead is rework time. The Octogun's drip-free mechanism and 8-point cradle eliminate the two biggest sources of waste on any caulking job.
- Instant drip-free cutoff saves material
- Even pressure = consistent bead every time
- Hex rod or ratchet rod — your preference
- Family-built quality since 1974
Everything You
Need to Know
The Octogun features an instant pressure-release mechanism. When you stop squeezing the trigger, the internal plunger retracts slightly, relieving pressure on the cartridge. This eliminates the slow ooze that wastes material and creates mess on traditional caulk guns.
Yes. Every Octogun model is compatible with standard 10oz cartridges — the industry standard size used by all major sealant and adhesive brands including DAP, GE, OSI, Loctite, and Sika.
Hex rod models provide smooth, variable-speed dispensing — ideal for precision work like window glazing and trim. Ratchet rod models offer a stronger mechanical advantage with each squeeze, better suited for thick adhesives and high-volume commercial applications.
Built with heavy-duty steel and a powder-coat finish, Octoguns are designed for years of daily professional use. Many of our customers report 5+ years on the same gun. We've been building these since 1974 — durability is in our DNA.

Get Better Results
Every Time
Cut the Nozzle at 45°
Angle your cut about ¼" from the tip. A smaller opening gives you more control — you can always cut more off, but you can’t put it back.
Warm Your Cartridge
Cold caulk is stiff caulk. Let the tube sit in warm water for 5 minutes before loading. It’ll flow smoother and give you a cleaner line.
Push, Don’t Pull
Push the gun away from you as you squeeze. This forces caulk into the joint instead of dragging over the surface. Cleaner bead, better seal.
Smooth With a Wet Finger
Dip your finger in soapy water and run it along the bead within 30 seconds. The soap keeps caulk from sticking to your skin for a pro finish.
