How to use
- Works on glass, wood, tile, stone and metal. Solvent-free, so nothing has to leave the bead for it to cure.
- Not on PMMA or polycarbonate under stress load, where it can craze.
- Tack-free at 60 minutes, full cure 36 to 72 hours.
- Test paint compatibility before painting over it.
Where not to use it
From the manufacturer's datasheet.
- No adhesion to PE, PP, PTFE, silicones or bituminous substrates
- Not recommended on PMMA (Plexiglass) or polycarbonate (Lexan) in stress-loaded applications. It causes stress cracking and crazing, and clear sealant is exactly what people reach for on acrylic glazing
- Not a glazing sealant. Not a structural sealant
- Not for dilatation joints
- Not for continuous water immersion
- Test paint compatibility before painting over it
UV stability is very good, but the datasheet notes it may discolour in extreme conditions or after many years of exposure. We do not claim it never yellows.

Why We Don't Make Five Different Clear Formulas
Some brands make different "clear formulas" for different jobs: one for glass, one for wood, one for outdoor, one for indoor. This is marketing, not engineering.

Why It Outperforms Solvent-Based Clear Sealants
Traditional clear sealants are solvent-based. They rely on solvents evaporating during cure to form a stable bead, and that carries built-in compromises: strong odors for days, shrinkage as the solvent leaves, chemical cleanup, and a bead that can yellow or cloud as it degrades. Hybrid polymer technology removes the cause: it is solvent-free, so nothing has to leave the bead for it to cure.

Newborn 360-DT, drip-free switched on
Crystal Clear is a thinner hybrid, so it runs on after you let go and wants a drip-free mechanism. The 360-DT has one on a switch, which is why it is the gun in the bundle. The 930-GTD or 208D run it just as well.
