Dual-Thrust Caulk Guns
Dual-thrust caulk guns put two thrust ratios in one frame. Run the lower ratio for speed with thinner sealants, then switch to the higher one when thick urethane, epoxy, subfloor adhesive or cold weather makes the material fight back. Newborn builds dual thrust into cartridge, sausage and bulk guns.
The 360-DT, 365-DT and 720AL-DT share a 12:1 / 26:1 ratio, a 360Β° revolving barrel and a drip-free mechanism, so choose by package size. The 360-DT takes standard 10 oz cartridges and lets you switch the drip-free mechanism on or off. The 365-DT takes 29 oz quart cartridges for large-scale work. Both have a built-in scraper, spatula, spout cutter, seal puncture poker and caulk plug. The 720AL-DT takes 20 oz sausage packs and has an aluminum barrel, with self-puncture cones included.
